SnapKnot Blog Feature – Unique Wedding Bouquets

If you’re planning a wedding, you need to check out Snapknot, a website that helps brides and grooms organize and plan their weddings. It connects couples with photographers, allowing them to narrow down their favourites until they find just the right one for their wedding. They can add other important people to their own profile on Snapknot, where collaboration can continue up to and even after the wedding day. It’s a place where the photographer can share photos after the wedding, making it easy to order and share with others. All this at  no cost to the wedding couple!

Snapknot also has a very informative and inspiring blog about all things wedding! They are currently doing a series on wedding bouquets and flowers and I am thrilled to see one of my images on their “Unique Wedding Bouquets” post.  Have a look and stay tuned for more blog entries on this topic!

Vancouver Portrait Photography – Seanny

I had a blast yesterday afternoon on the playground at Granville Island with little 4 1/2 year old Sean and his mom, Tina! Affectionately known as Seanny, his tousle of curls and adorable smile melted me right away. He was a little shy at first but I won him over when he spotted my little red wagon. He was all smiles and giggles during his ride around the playground! Swings, slides, peek-a-boo, bubbles; we were instant BFFs!

Seanny was diagnosed with ALL – Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia-High Risk a year and a half ago. Undergoing many rounds of chemo and blood transfusions, Seanny is now in a maintenance phase and can enjoy daycare and afternoons at the playground. He continues to take daily chemo and several other meds as part of his treatment protocol that will continue for two more years.

Tina credits Seanny’s wonderful Oncologist, Dr. Rod Rassekh and the many nurses on the Oncology team at BCCH for saving Seanny’s life. “We have learned more than ever, to appreciate each and every day we have with Seanny, his older sister, Shannon and his older brother, Dylan.”

Seanny and Tina, it was a pleasure to get to know you. Your positive spirit is inspiring and I look forward to reports of Seanny’s progress on his journey to good health.

What stunning photos, totally captured his infectious (and I suspect mischevous) smile. What a beautiful child. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Snapknot Blog Feature – Pink Wedding Bouquets

Snapknot is a terrific website that I’ve discovered recently where brides and grooms can organize and plan their weddings.

They are currently doing a series on wedding bouquets and flowers, starting with a blog entry on Pink Wedding Bouquets. I am thrilled that they included one of my images from a wedding I photographed in New York. Have a look and stay tuned for more blog entries on this topic!
