Vancouver Wedding Photography – Meagan and Justin

It was a beautiful day in June for Meagan and Justin’s wedding. The forecast threatened rain and we were prepared with umbrellas but nothing could dampen the excitement of this wonderful day. We had sprinkles throughout the day and even a downpour but just when we needed it, the rain held off! Meagan’s dress had stunning details and it was breathtaking on her. Her girls wore midnight blue with coral flowers and accessories. The ceremony was held at Calvary Christian Church and the reception was at Occasions at the Pond, both in Surrey, BC.

Justin’s nephews and niece did a fantastic job participating in the wedding ceremony!

The creative session is always a relaxed and beautiful time for the bride and groom in the middle of their wedding day. Thank you, rain, for stopping just long enough for these portraits!

Moments like these are priceless!

It’s My Wedding Trade Show – Abbotsford, BC

This weekend, I’m participating in the It’s My Wedding trade show at the Tradex in Abbotsford, BC. This is the first time I’ve exhibited at a trade show so the booth design was completely open-ended as I was starting from scratch. I had some ideas floating around but it wasn’t until Steve was getting his hair cut at the new Tommy Gun’s barbershop at Guildford Mall that I got my inspiration. I loved the decor – brick walls, metal, red leather chairs. Sort of a vintage, urban style. We started to figure out how we could build a “brick” wall. A huge thank you to Steve and his friend, Curtis, for building me that wall. Another huge thank you to Darrel of The Old Cannery at Guildford Mall for furnishing the booth and Colette of She’s My Florist in Abbotsford for the beautiful flowers.

All my wedding packages come with a gorgeous, leather Finao album. There are beautiful leathers, silks and vegan cover options to choose from. Cover photos can be made canvas, metal or mounted under acrylic. You will have a one-of-a-kind album!

Stop by The Old Cannery at Guildford Mall. They carry the funkiest furniture and accessories. Many are made of reclaimed wood and have a vintage look and feel. Thank you to Darrel for supplying this beautiful table, lamp, crates, metal stool and chalkboard.

This lightbox attracted a lot of attention today. The backlit display is the perfect way to showcase this “Meet Me in the Moonlight” image.

Monte Durham of “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” gave excellent advice to brides and grooms today on trends, traditions and style.

So I hope you listened carefully to all Monte Durham’s advice!! 🙂

Your booth looks incredible. I am sure that no one was able to walk past without stopping to take a closer look and to ask for information. I hope you had that gorgeous book on display that you showed us before Dennis and Gerry’s wedding! I think I saw it in one of the pictures.

I have been praying that this would be a wonderful, profitable weekend for you, Ev!

Thank you, Sharon! It was a very enjoyable weekend, meeting all the couples and hearing about their wedding plans. Yes, you spotted the album that I showed you. I look forward to putting an album in the hands of all my brides and grooms (it’s included!). Thanks for all your best wishes!

Vancouver Newborn Photography – Baby Cassia

It was a thrill to meet Baby Cassia today! She is the most beautiful, delicate and good-natured baby and it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon photographing her. She is the third baby to bless this family and I’ve had the privilege of photographing all three! I love watching families grow over the years and preserving these precious moments in time. May God bless you throughout the years, Cassia!

Vancouver Graduation Photography – Karline

It was a big week for this family with sisters graduating two days apart. First, Brooklyn graduating from high school and now, Karline from the University of the Fraser Valley. The ceremony was held at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre adjacent to the university. It had rained that morning but the rain dwindled to a sprinkle just in time for some family photos. Congratulations, Karline, on this outstanding achievement! May your future be blessed with much success.
