It was a perfect autumn day as we headed out recently to Langley to photograph this fun family. Having photographed the kiddos as newborns and several family sessions, we have history with this family and had lots of tricks up our sleeves to keep the kids engaged. The kids are so fun and they provided us with plenty of hilarious outtakes. I got a chance to use my newest prop, an authentic 1960ish Pedigree pram. Thanks for the fun afternoon, beautiful family!
It was our absolute pleasure to photograph the beautiful wedding of Christine and Kevin on Saturday. Childhood classmates and friends, this romance was the result of a lifetime of moments leading to this day. The intimate, meaningful ceremony, surrounded by family and close friends, took place in the vintage chapel at Burnaby Village Museum followed by wedding portraits in the beautifully restored 1912 interurban tram and the 1912 CW Parker vintage carousel. The reception took place at the Lochdale Hall in Burnaby. Our heartfelt wishes for a lifetime of happiness to a wonderful couple!

It was our pleasure to photograph the wedding of this amazing couple. We’ve been getting to know Alysha and Stryder over the past year as they’ve planned the many details of this beautiful day. It was truly a special, emotional day as best friends made promises of a lifetime together. The girls started getting ready early with breakfast and mimosas while the guys decorated the reception venue before getting dressed. We then transported the bride and groom to a secluded location for their first look and private vows. We promise, we weren’t listening! The ceremony was beautiful and then . . . what a party with family and friends! Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your big day, Alysha and Stryder. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Every time I meet one of these fresh-from-heaven babies, I am in awe. They are, truly, miracles! It is such a privilege to be able to capture images of babies in their first week or two as they change so quickly at this age. Blessings to you, Baby S, and your beautiful family!
For the past couple of years, I have been invited to photograph the graduates of the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. Occurring quarterly, the graduation photo shoots have had a fun and celebratory feel to them, as the students and chef instructors share a camaraderie and genuine fondness for each other. Recently, I created headshots for the chef instructors for PICA’s website and other promotional material. PICA offers professional culinary training and also casual cooking classes. I am very tempted to participate!
